Arlingsworth Supervises Charity Draw
Arlingsworth’s Director and Principal solicitor, Rahil Chaudhari, attended a Charitable Donation Event at Evelina House in Waterloo, London on the 3rd of September, 2020.
The Charity Event was run by Win a Country Home, in association with Jo Howe, the National Partnership Manager of Ronald McDonald House Charity (UK), and presided over by local solicitors, Arlingsworth.
Total entries into the Win a country home draw totalled 174,624. Unfortunately, due to insufficient tickets being sold, the event could not give away country house Coles Hall this time. Nevertheless, one lucky winner received a life changing cheque for £166,653, and £10,000 was donated to Ronald McDonald House Charity (UK).
Every year, Ronald McDonald House Charity (UK) helps over 6,000 families stay close to their children in hospital by providing ‘home away from home’ accommodation for as long as they need it. With 11 houses across the UK, the charity gives families a warm and comfortable place to relax, eat and rest, just a few steps away from their child’s hospital ward. Ronald McDonald House Charities have been operating for 30 years, and this £10,000 donation is able to help provide for families for 400 nights. A donation that is much needed, in times where the charity has a 50% drop in donations.
